Happy Friday, reader friends! Has everyone adjusted to the time change? I don’t think I’m quite there yet but I have been going to bed and getting up earlier… except Thursday night because two FLF posts snuck up on me.
I’m actually still playing catch-up from being sick last week (what can I say? I’m bookishly ambitious and Trello can’t stop me). Believe it or not, blogging isn’t the only thing that gets behind when I’m down… laundry, kids’ lessons, and budgeting suffer… plus the general dropping of everything all over everywhere in our home goes unchecked.
Just kidding (mostly), my husband is honestly a better cook than I am and he even pitches in with the cleaning on occasion plus my kids are old enough to complete their chores (with enough sweet reminders) and cook simple meals on their own so I’m pretty much working myself out of a job (which I’m pretty sure is one of the main goals of motherhood).
