Faithfully Bookish

Hello, reader friends! Welcome to the seventh day of our year-end celebration! This is the final swoof file (click here if you missed one) but I’m sharing my year-end favorites on Monday!

Genres, time periods, settings… we love them all! SO, what kind of fictional experience are y’all in the mood for?! Not sure? Can’t decide? I’m here for you!

We’re dedicating this final week of the year to the swoof files! Seven lists of ten(ish) books each categorized by swoof, my experience of the reads!

2017 top swoony reads on Faithfully Bookish

Last but not least… swoony reads! Grab your fans and fainting couches, these are the stories that make my knees weak and my reader heart soar! This is by no means an exhaustive list. I’m a big fan of romance so several books which earned spots in other swoof files would certainly qualify here as well. Each of these books has been featured on Faithfully Bookish in 2017 so y’all can get the scoop by clicking the covers below for more about these lovely stories!

A Note Yet Unsung
by Tamera Alexander

A Note Yet Unsung by Tamera Alexander

Music is a powerful force! When these characters open up to one another and literally make music together, it makes my reader heart sing!

Just the Way You Are
by Pepper Basham

Just the Way You Are by Pepper Basham

Second chances, fairy tales, pixie dust, and closets… this Britallachian story sweeps me off my feet!

A New Shade of Summer
by Nicole Deese

A New Shade of Summer by Nicole Deese

Opposites attract even when they fight it. Plus kids, puppies, and small towns are a few of my favorite things!

Peace in the Valley
by Ruth Logan Herne

Peace in the Valley by Ruth Logan Herne

A hunky crooning cowboy with a heart of gold… need I say more?!

His Steadfast Love
by Julie Lessman

His Steadfast Love by Julie Lessman

“She’s bent on fun. He’s bent on faith. Till true love bridges the gap.” Another mister steady and this author always lives up to her tagline, “passion with purpose!”

The Esther Paradigm
by Sarah Monzon

The Esther Paradigm by Sarah Monzon

This story “will have readers saddling up their camels in search of the nearest desert cave with its sweet yet steamy romance!” (RT Book Reviews 4½ star TOP PICK) Yeah, it’s that good!

The Girl Next Door series
by Amy Leigh Simpson

When Fall Fades by Amy Leigh Simpson From Winter's Ashes by Amy Leigh Simpson

This is “clean with steam” romantic suspense from the general market so my more conservative fans might need to pass on this one or be prepared to move the fainting couch over to an open freezer.

With No Reservations
by Laurie Tomlinson

With No Reservations by Laurie Tomlinson

These two heat things up in the kitchen with vulnerability and healing.

True to You
by Becky Wade

True to You by Becky Wade

The emotions run high in this genealogical search and the hero’s position as former Navy SEAL certainly doesn’t hurt!

Just Maybe
by Crystal Walton

When these two let down their defenses, this nanny arrangement definitely has the potential to grow into more!
