Cowboy Christmas Homecoming collection

Glad tidings, hearts binding.

Cowboy Christmas HomecomingThey’ve weathered a lot worse than winter. For widow June Harper, another cold front is about to hit. Most call him Hugh. She’d call him Scrooge, except as the man ensures her needs are met, June can’t help but wonder how to meet the needs of his heart.

Netty Lewis can take care of herself, has for a while now. Some hired help over the holidays doesn’t change that. And even if Roy does take care of her, that doesn’t mean he cares for her or that he’ll stay past Christmas.

Pastor Colton McCabe is having the opposite problem. He’s not sure he’ll make it through the holidays with his new housekeeper. Grace can’t seem to do anything right but love. Perhaps being a homekeeper will earn her a permanent residence in his heart.

And no one longs for a home more than Connie Lancaster. She’s determined to return to St. Louis, and no cowboy can change her mind. But if Isaac can change her heart, maybe Connie will see the homecoming she’s been waiting for isn’t to a place but a person.

My Thoughts

Picking this title up was a no brainer for me, I’ve read previous books by each author and they all have titles on my all time favorites list.

Last Chance Christmas by Julie Lessman

Grace seems to be one step from domestic disaster at all times. Reading all her calamities was very therapeutic for my culinary confidence. Colton is not your average pastor! In addition to his woodworking and fatherly devotion, this widower has a little-known skill set that proves to be invaluable.

A Cowboy for Christmas by Ruth Logan Herne

Hugh has the resources to provide for the needs of those less fortunate, including June and her children. He’s my favorite hero from the collection, I like those strong, quiet, sometimes gruff types. June is feisty and strong. She’s a true mama bear and I admire her for holding to her faith and being a hard worker.

Longhorn Christmas by Mary Connealy

Netty is a spitfire and she needs to be in order to manage both her son and her west Texas ranch single-handedly. She is my favorite heroine from the collection, I love her versatility. Netty is not afraid to of work, whether it be herding onery longhorns or cooking delicious feasts. Roy has no idea what he’s getting himself into with this job.

Connie’s Christmas Prayer by Anna Schmidt

Connie can’t help but long for happier (and easier) days gone by. She and her mother work long hours in running a cafe just to survive. Can’t blame a girl for experiencing a healthy dose of culture shock! Isaac is a man of faith and action. He’s putting down roots and has his heart set on a pretty little waitress.

What a great little novella collection! Really, what’s not to love about Christmas and cowboys? It’s better than a box of chocolates!

I requested the opportunity to read and review this title through NetGalley. The opinions expressed are my own.
