Happy Tuesday, reader friends! I’m a bit late linking up with That Artsy Reader Girl for Top Ten Tuesday (but I just wanted to read last night)! The topic this week is: “Books I’d Give Different Titles To (and tell us what title you’d pick!)” I’m sharing books with names instead! Here are ten-ish books with people’s proper names in the title!
books with names
The Secret Life of Sarah Hollenbeck & Wooing Cadie McCaffrey
Coming soon… Hadley Beckett’s Next Dish by Bethany Turner!
Lady Jayne Disappears & Finding Lady Enderly
Hot tip… A Rumored Fortune by Joanna Davidson Politano actually involves a mysterious name!
Knox, Tate, Ford, & Wyatt
Coming soon… Ruby Jane by Susan May Warren!
Lulu’s Cafe
T. I. Lowe’s Lulu is one of my favorite characters!
all the Regency Brides
The Elusive Miss Ellison, The Captivating Lady Charlotte, The Dishonorable Miss Delancey, Winning Miss Winthrop, Miss Serena’s Secret, The Making of Mrs. Hale, A Hero for Miss Hatherleigh, Underestimating Miss Cecilia, and coming soon… Misleading Miss Verity by Carolyn Miller!
Jane by the Book & Jane in Austin
The world really does need more Janes! Thanks to Pepper Basham and Hillary Manton Lodge for providing these two!
Claiming Mariah & Stealing Jake
Hot tip… check out the Natchez Trace series by Pam Hillman for titles with place names like Breeze Hill, Magnolia Glen, and Cypress Creek!
The Esther Paradigm
I highly recommend this wonderful modern-day retelling by Sarah Monzon!
Newton & Polly, Luther & Katharina, & My Dearest Dietrich
These historicals from Jody Hedlund and Amanda Barratt are inspiring and thought-provoking!
Miriam & Isaiah’s Daughter, Isaiah’s Legacy
Coming soon… Isaiah’s Legacy by Mesu Andrews!
Share some of your favorite books with names! Honestly, why aren’t more publishers doing this instead of the generic Cowboy’s Secret Baby and Rancher’s Second Chance titles?!
love these!

I’m not familiar with any of these but I like the look of Knox, Tate, Ford and Wyatt. It’s been a long time since I read a cowboy romance. 🙂

Oh, I highly recommend them! If you like romantic suspense or cowboys, definitely give them a try! While the Marshall brothers did grow up on a Montana ranch, they have a variety of occupations in interesting locations so it’s not all horses and cowpokes.
