Happy Friday, y'all!!! I feel like I'm going in a dozen different directions at once this week. Hubby is moving to a different shift at work, we've started a new homeschool curriculum for the kids, and Christian Fiction Readers Retreat less than a week away!!!
The title I'm featuring today is next on my TBR and I've had my eye on it for a while now. I actually scheduled the whole series for review just in time for the third book's release next month! We'll see if my scheduling skills are improving or if I'll continue scrambling at the last minute for just the right words.
Y'all, I really enjoy hearing what you are reading (or sitting next to) each week! This is such a fun way to grow your book wishlist and meet fellow book lovers! Yesterday, I finally started a book that I've read so many good reviews on, seen mentioned all over social media, and had sitting on my Kindle taunting me for far too long!
Ahhhh, doesn't that cover and first line just put you at ease? I feel the tension and stress unwinding! This is a day for our family to recharge, hubby is whiskingย us away to enjoy the great outdoors. Last weekend I watched Mom's Night Out (for maybe the eighth time) with my mom (her first time). It's the first movie I've ever pre-ordered and I love it! The main character, Alison is a mommy-blogger and there are so many times I see myself in that character.
I've missed all y'all this week!!! Honestly, I've missed adult interaction in general. Between working overtime and visiting a loved one, hubby has barely been home long enough to eat a meal and sleep this week.
Y'all, I'm feeling kind of, sort of, a little bit caught up this week on the blog! YAY! I think I'll celebrate by reading books as I finish folding laundry... I'm wild like that. I'm very excited about the new release I'll be starting this afternoon!
If you've been following the blog for awhile, you may recall that I like to read multiple books at once. Since I finished two books yesterday, I'mย diving into a new one today... just as soon as I write those six backlogged reviews. *sigh*ย My writing skills pale in comparison to my reading aptitude, y'all!
