Favorite Reads of 2020 so far

Hello, reader friends! Due to a long list of reasons we won’t get into, our regularly scheduled favorite reads post for early 2020 was repeatedly trampled by my to-do list. Normally, we break the year up into three periods (early, mid, & late) and I share my highly anticipated and favorite titles read for those periods (find earlier favorites here). However, nothing about 2020 is normal, I haven’t even reviewed most of my favorite reads of 2020 so far but I can’t stop reading, it is essential for the preservation of my sanity (or at least the remnants of such)!

In no particular order (because my to-do list is breathing down my neck) and painstakingly narrowed down (so I can keep this to one post and you don’t have to scroll forever), here are January through June’s additions to my favorites-shelves! Some made me laugh, others made me cry, I was challenged and inspired, and y’all know me, I swooned a lot! Click the covers to learn more about each story and its author.

    1. When I Come Home again is one of Jen’s genuine raw emotional reads. Great balance of highs and lows, both challenging and inspiring. Happy reading, Arletta!
