Happy Friday, reader friends! In lieu of our usual First Line Fridays post, I’d like to share a portion of scripture from John 19 in honor of Good Friday. Open the book nearest you and share the first line or share one of your favorite scripture verses!
“After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished, to fulfill the Scripture, said, … “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.“
This is an abbreviated version of verses 28-30 taken from the NASB (read more here). I’ll be spending time with my family today as I continue to recover from CFRR and a new job so y’all have a blessed weekend as we remember and celebrate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Lately, God has placed John 15:12-14 on my heart:
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command.

Happy Friday Beth! It was so good to meet you at CFRR! Have a blessed Good Friday and Happy Easter!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:16-17 KJV

This week on my blog I am sharing the first few lines from All Made Up by Kara Isaac. It’s such a fantastic novel. I highly recommend it. You can go to my post by clicking the link: https://tinyurl.com/Friday83. Currently, I am reading Weddings, Willows, and Revised Expectations by V. Joy Palmer. It’s really good. I’m on chapter seven, so I will share a line from there.
“Don’t see me. Don’t see me. Don’t see me. ‘Courtney!’ Walk faster. Walk faster. Walk faster. ‘Courtney!’ Dallas yelled. ‘Please! We need to talk.'”
Hope you have a blessed Easter weekend. Happy reading! ?❤️?
