Knox by Susan May Warren

He’s not looking for trouble… Montana rancher Knox Marshall’s danger years are behind him. A former bull-rider, he now runs the Marshall family ranch, raising champion bucking bulls for the National Professional Bullrider’s Expo (NBR-X). Wealth and success are his, but life is stable, expected, and…ordinary.  But he wants more from life…

But trouble is looking for her… Kelsey Jones just wants a safe life, a family, a home. Onstage, the beautiful rising star of the Yankee Belles becomes the person she longs to be – vivacious and confident – burying the brokenness she carries from a violent assault. Becoming NBR-X’s next country act is key to outrunning her past and achieving the success and security she craves.

When trouble finds them both… Knox and Kelsey’s paths collide when an explosion at an NBR-X event traps them in the rubble and leaves them reeling. Kelsey’s crippling nightmares return, but for Knox, an obsession to find the bomber is ignited.

What will it cost him to protect her?  When Kelsey’s past threatens Knox’s family, he’ll have to choose between saving the Marshall legacy or becoming the protector he’s always longed to be.

The explosive first book in the Montana Marshall series!

  1. That Knox cover is GREAT! It’s fun to see men on the covers once in a while. I also enjoy Dani Pettrey’s covers.

Another cover I ran across just today I think of an upcoming release with a hunky hero on the cover is The Spice King by Elizabeth Camden. It doesn’t release to this fall.

  2. Hi! This is hard, but to just pick one I will say Troubled Waters. I didn’t expect it when I started the series, but this also turned out to be my favorite book.

  3. From the old post, how can you not love the Double S Ranch series covers by Ruth Logan Herne! WOW!

From this post I loved the covers to “Bad Boy Rancher” by Karen Rock and “Her Last Chance Cowboy” by Tina Radcliffe because I have already read them so the cover takes on more depth in meaning to me.

I’ve read so much about “Knox” by Susan May Warren and it’s definitely on my TBR list. I also love the cover for “Her Colorado Cowboy” by Mindy Obenhaus. Think I’m all for the clean cut American man who looks like he takes God, Country and his family as a great responsibility and one that he cherishes. Guess I read a lot into covers. 🙂

Greatly appreciate the chance to win a copy of a book I’d love the opportunity to read.

  4. Oh my! I think I’ll just leave this post up on my laptop a while. 😀 I’ve had my eye on Knox, so thanks for the chance to win! The Montana Rescue series covers are all fantastic. Her Last Chance Cowboy is awesome, too, as well as Her Colorado Cowboy. I’m kind of partial to cowboys, since I have my own real life cowboy.

Thanks for the fun post and the chance to win.

  5. I loved the entire Montana Rescue series covers, although I think that Ian looked a little Photoshopped to get the red into his hair. I also love the entire Chesapeake Valor series too! Still Life and Dead Drift are my favorites. I’m really digging the covers for Knox and Tate, and I can’t wait to see how to covers match the stories!

  6. Knox, the cowboys, and Code of Valor. A few of my favorite covers that aren’t pictured are Back in the Saddle by Ruth Logan Herne and these by Mary Connealy: The Reluctant Warrior, The Accidental Guardian, and Out of Control.

    1. They were in the running, I promise! I had to narrow down the list by focusing on covers featuring only men this time. Back in the Saddle was featured last time though

  8. Code of Valor and Knox! They sorta look alike but I can only see half of his face on the cover of Code of Honor.
I’ve changed my mind…all of Susan May Warrens men look great on their covers.
