Happy Friday, reader friends! I owe y’all some reviews! Once I kick the remnants of this nasty head cold (which has seriously sidelined my brain powers), sending out some book love and swoofness is top priority.

On a happier note, we have been researching travel trailers (aka bumper-pull campers) for quite sometime and we are ready to take the plunge just as soon we locate a suitable trailer at the right price for our growing family (growing up, not increasing in number… in case my mama happens to read this). ๐Ÿ˜‰

If any of y’all are experienced camper owners, I’d love to hear your advice and tips for shopping for and outfitting a home away from home! If I’m not around, you can bet we’re off to do some browsing and I’ll keep you posted!

Sunset fire stretched across the horizon. Serenity Hope MacAlister brushed a strand of chestnut brown hair out of her eyes and rubbed Hillbilly’s neck.

I have only ridden a horse once but I am always drawn to stories with horse-lovers. There’s just something wise and comforting about horses that I can’t resist.

By the way, today’s guest on Hoarding Books is offering a giveaway so don’t miss out!

  1. Sorry to hear you’ve been unwell. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ But I have to say, that disclaimer wasn’t just helpful for your mama! Lol! I was getting excited then for a few seconds.

I’m featuring the long-awaited conclusion to Ronie Kendig’s fantasy series this week: Fierian. However here, I’ll share the first line from Tammy L. Gray’s new release, Until I Knew Myself:

“Even after his mom passed away, Tyler refused to call himself an orphan.”

    Have a great weekend! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Happy Friday! Hope you are feeling better soon Beth!

My FLF comes from a book I will be starting later this weekend, Loveโ€™s Journey in SugarCreek by Sienna Miller.

The leather on Rachel Troyerโ€™s gun holster creaked as she shifted her weight on the kitchen chair. Her three elderly Amish aunts shot wary glances toward the offending weapon.

Have a great weekend and Happy Reading!????????

I haven’t heard of this book, but I love a good horse book, too!

Over on my blog, I’m sharing the first line of a wonderful new book about the Maccabees, Judah’s Wife, but here I’ll share the first line of the nonfiction book I’m reading now, Our Unmet Needs by Charles Stanley: “Do you have a nagging, gnawing feeling that something isn’t quite right in your life? Do you feel overwhelmed by a need you can’t meet, a problem you can’t solve, or a question you can’t answer? Are you able to identify the real need that underlies your feelings of uneasiness, fear, worry, or restlessness?”

Here, I will share the first line from a book by C.H.
