Hello, reader friends! I’m still in recovery mode after our big family vacation and blogger break!
My husband, four children, and I took the train from southern Illinois to eastern Washington state and that meant lots of time for family and READING!!! I gobbled up EIGHT books while we were jostled along the rails and I have a new respect for early railway passengers!
Keep your eyes open for some of those reviews here. I’ll be posting them just soon as I can sit down without falling asleep and as quickly as my swoof will allow!
A Time to Stand by Robert Whitlow
“The cornstalks were waist high, poised for the explosion of growth that would bring them to head-high maturity under the smiling Georgia sun.“
This pretty cover was waiting for me in my mailbox when we returned home and I’m so intrigued by this book! This is a new to me author so if y’all have read this author’s work, please let me know.
Keep an eye out, I will definitely be featuring this title over on Diversity Between the Pages as well.
Thanks to a generous Faithfully Bookish reader friend, we have a paperback copy of A Time to Stand by Robert Whitlow to send to one fortunate Faithfully Bookish reader!
