Congratulations to the INSPY Award winners!

Since this is a season of celebrations in my little corner of the world, I want to wish an early Happy Canada Day to my northern neighbours (see what I did there? that’s especially for all my proper friends), Happy Independence Day to my fellow Americans, and a big hearty “Howdy, y’all!” and friendly wave for everyone else!

We are getting together with friends for a little party this weekend. I’m looking forward to lots of food, lots of kids, and lots of opportunities for me to snuggle other people’s babies! ????

Speaking of friends, we met some new fictional friends this month so be sure to hop over and say hi if you missed out!

Amy Matayo’s Cory Minor & Christy Barritt’s Mallory Baldwin

Let me know if there’s a book character you’re itching to meet and I’ll be happy to issue an invitation!

  1. I loved The One True Love of Alice-Ann, but I can’t count it as a June favorite. The Raven by Mike Nappa, Just a Kiss by Denise Hunter & The Noble Servant by Melanie Dickerson were some of my favorite reads this month.

  2. I haven’t read any of these either, but I just started Ruth Logan Herne’s Back in the Saddle. I’ll work my way up to Peace in the Valley.
