Here’s another new to me author! This gorgeous cover captures that tranquil lakeside vibe and the setting had me ready to dive in! We visited the Spokane area a few months ago and I fell in love with northern Idaho (we even drove through Newport). Take a look at this gorgeous video of Sandpoint, Idaho (just a short drive east of Newport, WA) taken by Luke Barrett and see for yourself!
Serenah courageously flees her abusive husband and creates a new life for herself in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She is smart, cautious, and hard-working. Serenah keeps her true identity hidden in order to protect herself but it would be hard to build authentic relationships when your life is full of secrets. I admire her for her bravery and savvy. She has a hard road to travel yet she doesn’t give up.
One Thursday Morning kept me on the edge of my seat with the secrets and suspense. I look forward to enjoying more titles by this author (and dreaming of the Pacific Northwest)!
