There once was a girl who’d been praying for a husband since the fourth grade.
Did y’all know there are some fabulous deals on print books right now on Amazon? My Stubborn Heart arrived yesterday in a sweet little book haul which also included The Crossing at Cypress Creek, Just Let Go, The Hidden Side, Keep Holding On
and a preordered The Way of the Brave
. I even got a jump start on some birthday gifts (also books, obviously)!
Anytime I mention purchasing print books from Amazon I feel the need to caution my fellow readers to keep a close eye on the book condition and seller information in the smaller print before you add any title to your cart and never add to cart directly from your lists. Christianbook usually has the best bargains for print books but Amazon must be making space for 2020 books in their warehouses go see what bargains you can find in Christian Fiction books!
Check out more posts featuring Becky Wade and go to Hoarding Books to find more FLF bloggers!
And, that girl would be me! LOL. I knew I wanted to be a mom at 4, but didn’t quite understand that a man was necessary until about the 4th grade. Great first line.
Happy Friday!
Today on my blog I am sharing the first few lines from The Blizzard Bride by Susie Dietze: https://christianfictiongirl.blog/2020/01/10/first-line-fridays-118/. I’m still working my way through this fun novel, so I will share another line or two from The Blizzard Bride.
“‘Forgive, forget, forgive, forget.’ The words formed a rhythmic refrain in Abby’s head, in time to the beat played by the group of fiddles and banjos Saturday evening at Mayor Carpenter’s birthday party.”
I hope you have an excellent weekend filled with relaxing reading time. ?❤️?
