You can’t be the photographer.
Well, I’m no expert but it sure looks like she’s the photographer to me! This cover makes me want to pack the family up for an epic road trip! I am fascinated by America’s wide variety of landscapes and I’m thrilled to read this new series!
Have YOU visited the Grand Canyon, reader friends?! I haven’t seen it YET but hopefully, we’ll make it out there before the kids are grown and too busy to hang out with us! Ideally, we could swing by Lake Tahoe in a big loop on our way back home. Yes, I plan these things… my travels are often inspired by books (and beautimous covers)!

I have that book in my wish list!
The first line I’m sharing today is:
It was not the best hiding spot I had ever found, but it was, thankfully, proving quite effective.
Secrets and Suitors by Joanna Barker
It looks like she’s the photographer to me too! 🙂
With that cover & first line, this sure sounds interesting!!
Happy Friday! My first line is from “Cold Pursuit” by Gayla K. Hiss:
“Faith Chandler stared at the man walking in the distance.”
Yes, my husband and I visited the Grand Canyon about four years ago. We loved it.
Happy Friday! On my blog, I’m sharing the anthology Romancing the Rancher’s Daughter. Here I will share the first line in Chapter 21 in the second story, A Measure of Mercy by Debra E. Marvin. When dampness kept Witt’s shirt stuck to his back, and a much more feminine glisten shone on Addy’s brow, he motioned her away from the dance floor in favor of refreshments and a much-needed break. Have a wonderful weekend!
Happy Friday! A Distance Too Grand is on my TBR! Today I’m sharing the first lines from Simply Starstruck by Aspen Hadley: “It’s funny in life how you never recognize a big moment when it’s actually happening.”
Today on my blog I shared the first line from The Telegraph Proposal by Becca Whitham and Gina Welborn but I’m currently reading Aiming for Love by Mary Connealy so I’ll share the first line from my current chapter (7) here: “Jo turned back to Dave to see him shake his head.” Hope you have a wonderful weekend with plenty of quality reading time!
Today I’m sharing the first line from Son of the Father by Andrew Stone: https://christianfictiongirl.blog/2019/10/03/first-line-friday-104/. I’m currently reading Fire Storm by Nancy Mehl so I’ll share a line from there.
“When Jason came over to fix supper that night, Kaely told him about the assignment with Omaha.”
I hope you have a relaxing weekend. ?❤?
A fun opening line! 🙂
I’m sharing on my blog the first line from Dancing at Daybreak by Valerie Comer.
“Mama, why don’t you live here anymore?”
Yep, pretty obvious. 😀 I’m looking forward to reading this! Have a great weekend and happy reading!
My best friend and I visited on a girls trip 3 years ago. Hubby wasn’t interested in visiting during the heat of the summer. Hope to get him there someday.
This book is on my wishlist.
