Hello, reader friends! Join me in welcoming author friend Mindy Obenhaus! She is visiting us today as part of a JustRead blog tour celebrating her latest release, Reunited in the Rockies! What is your favorite activity or hobby not related to books?

M: I love to cook/bake. Of course, I also enjoy eating the things I make and that can be problematic.

B: I hear ya! I have the same issue!

Share your inspiration behind Reunited in the Rockies.

M: As I thought about the five brothers in my Rocky Mountain Heroes series, I knew that one of them had to have a lost love. So why not bring him face-to-face with that woman who still lingered in his mind? Except, what if she was pregnant with another man’s child? And so it began.

B: Oh, ouch! You’re not making it easy for Jude!

What book are you reading right now?

M: A Rancher to Remember by Patricia Davids.

B: I’ve not read any of Patricia’s books yet, I’ll have to remedy that! I’m loving this cover!

What is your reading style?

M: I prefer to read on my phone because it’s always with me, though, lately, I’ve read a few print books that I picked up at a recent conference.

B: Sometimes it’s all about accessibility.

What is your next release and what are you working on now?

M: Book five in my Rocky Mountain Heroes series, Her Rocky Mountain Hope, will be out in February and I’m currently working on the first book in a new series set in Texas.

B: Yay! Go, Mindy!

What’s your writing style?

M: I’m a pantser who has been forced to plot, so I’m more of a plotser. I plot, but if inspiration hits, I’ll sometimes write entire chapters on my plotting chart.
