Faithfully Bookish

Hello, reader friends! I don’t know about y’all but I seem to have less time to read during the summer.

No long, lazy days on the beach or by the pool or anywhere for this desperate reading addict. We took a few weeks off from homeschool lessons but unexpectedly filled them with last-minute swimming lessons and trips to the library.

I’m not sure where the month went but I certainly didn’t spend as much time here on the blog as I had planned… sorry about that! Fear not, there are always more great books around the bend and I’m planning to post some series spotlights and a few more July releases soon.

In case you’ve missed some of our July spotlight posts, go check them out (they’re lonely)!

  1. The Social Tutor & His Bluestocking Bride by Sally Britton were my favorite reads and new author discovery of the month.
I did read Engraved on the Heart, a decent debut novel.

  2. Three of them are on my wish list!
I read The Captive Bride by Michelle Griep and The Lady and the Lionheart by Joanne Bischof. I enjoyed them both, The Lady and the Lionheart has me on an emotional rollercoaster!! ???????? I experienced so many emotions.
