Hello, reader friends!!! After spending a few days in a camper last week, it feels pretty silly to complain of cabin fever after just a few days of rain but boy, I’m getting there! Not that I necessarily want to get out but I miss the quiet and slower pace and simple ease of being together that somehow gets trampled by the everyday work, chores, and squabbles.
Some folks go-go-go when they camp but we slow down to rest and be refreshed and I’m ready to go again! What is your peaceful retreat, reader friends? How do you unwind and reconnect with your loved ones?

This story exceeded my expectations with its exotic locations, authentic characters, exciting plot, and satisfying happily ever after! The Princess and the P.I. is a delightful adventure and I highly recommend it!

Well, it’s not camping! Lol! I’m so not a camper… Just an afternoon of being together, playing board games or whatever, is good for me. Pretty much anything else takes too much organisation to be relaxing!
I’m featuring the first line from ‘A Solace of Water’ by Elizabeth Byler Younts this week, but as Ronie Kendig has just released the new and revised edition of Wolfsbane (one of my all-time favourite books!) I’m going to share the first line of that here:

My mother has ruined me for all board games, we used to play them all the time. I still enjoy UNO though! Having our own camper has made the organization aspect much easier, our first trip in it was the best ever in my opinion.
Ronie is really great at those first lines, isn’t she?!!!

My idea of camping is a two-star hotel…I am not an outdoor girl at all! Glad you enjoyed the quality family time, it is sometimes hard to come by in the rush of every day life.
