Favorite Ways to Celebrate Mothers Day
Lacy: I was born on Mother’s Day, so I’ve always loved the holiday. When I became a mother, it got even more special. I love the handmade cards my kids give me. Our family lives close and we usually eat a special meal with both my mom and my mother-in-law.
Beth: You just can’t beat handmade cards from your babies!
Favorite Books I’ve Read Recently
I also got a sneak peek of Linda Goodnight’s summer 2017 release (not yet titled) and it’s amazing. It’s a cowboy romance with a wonderful single mom that I admired so much!
Beth: I’m adding those to MY tbr! Thank you very much!
Favorite Fictional Couple
Beth: Pride and Prejudice ????
Favorite Book Setting
Lacy: Last year, I wrote Next Door Santa, which is a Christmas book set on one of Australia’s beaches. I love the idea of Christmas down under and found out so many cool details about Christmas there—like Santa gives the reindeer a break and the sleigh is pulled by kangaroos.
Also, they serve shrimp and other seafood for Christmas dinner, which just makes it that much better for me. I love seafood.
Beth: Fascinating! I’ll have to get my hands on that one!
Favorite Bookish Memory
Lacy: I got chicken pox when I was about ten. I was an itchy, feverish mess, but I had an anthology with three Anne of Green Gables books in a huge, hardcover edition that was a comfort. I finished all three by the time I recovered. I don’t really remember the sickness now, but I remember the books!
Beth: Have you heard of my love for Anne with an “e”?

Lacy: In February, I released four books in the Triple H Brides series. The first book, Kissing Kelsey, features hero Matt Hale, Gideon’s brother from book 1 in the Cowboy Fairytales series. Matt is a soldier who suffers a career-ending head injury and comes home with amnesia. He can’t remember anything but the girlfriend he left behind. Except Kelsey hasn’t been his girlfriend in ten years…
Beth: YAY! I’m so excited Matt has his own story!
A head injury and resulting amnesia have ended Sergeant Matt Hale’s military career. He can’t remember the man in the mirror, the sister and brother he’s told about, or the family ranch. But when he comes face-to-face with his girlfriend, memories of their high school romance return. With Kelsey by his side, he can deal with all the unknowns.
Except Kelsey Whitley isn’t prepared to stand by the man she walked away from a decade ago. When Matt only remembers their time together and not the breakup—which she was responsible for—his injury and vulnerability keep her lips sealed. Those and the amazing welcome-home kiss he lays on her.
It isn’t long before Matt realizes the truth—and asks Kelsey to stay. Will the hometown girl leave him behind a second time?

Lacy: I’m excited to re-release Marrying Miss Marshal and Counterfeit Cowboy this summer. These were my first and third books and they’ve gone through some extensive edits since the rights were reverted to me. I will be adding books to the Wild Wyoming Hearts series, including Cowboy Pride, a wild west version of Pride & Prejudice that was really fun to write!
Beth: Sounds great!
Lacy: Readers can find series starters Kissed by a Cowboy and Once Upon a Cowboy free at all retailers.
Beth: I love BOTH of these stories! I recently reread Kissed by a Cowboy, it’s that good! Lacy, thank you so much for chatting with us about favorites and books today!!! Readers make sure you check out Lacy’s books and get some for yourself!
