my thoughts

This Healing Journey is the heartwarming conclusion of the delightfully epic and adventurous Heart of the Mountains series. This entire journey and the families intertwined within it are wonderfully vivid and captivating.

Hannah is the epitome of compassionate and hardworking mountain folk. She’s clever, intelligent, and wise enough to lean on faith, especially when the going gets tough. Her relationship with her parents (especially her daddy) made my heart squeeze and melt.

Nathaniel is seeking a new start and I admire his determination and willingness to sacrifice for future success. Duty, honor, and faith are his guiding principles and I have to appreciate a man just looking for a quiet corner of the world to call his own.

Longtime fans of Beller’s Mountain Dreams series will be doubly pleased with several crossover cameos by beloved characters. Themes of adoption, informal fostering, and blended families reflect emotions and possible conflicts people continue to experience today. I highly recommend this story and the entire Heart of the Mountains series.
