Sacrificial Love in Fiction: TTT

Happy Tuesday, reader friends! I’m linking up with That Artsy Reader Girl again for Top Ten Tuesday & the topic this week is: “Character Traits I Love.” Rather than attempting a list of character traits and risk leaving some off then kicking myself for it later, I’ve chosen to feature just one of my favorite character traits — sacrificial love! This character trait always reminds me of Christ’s sacrifice and teaching to love others in service.

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13 KJV)

Given the nature of this character trait, I will not be listing the individual character names or teasers for each story in order to avoid spoilers. These stories don’t all feature life or death sacrifices… some characters sacrifice their dreams or make a physical sacrifice for those they love, others are simply willing to do so. As always, you can learn more about each story by clicking on the cover to read my review or other feature post (and these are listed in no particular order).

  1. Oh my, so honored to be included on this amazing list, Beth Erin! I agree, that is my favorite character trait too. So much of the greatest love story of all in it– Christ’s love for us! Thank you for assembling such a wonderful list!
