Favorite holiday tradition
J. E.: I live in Connecticut and have a tradition on the Fourth of July that I started when my good friend and business partner, Brian, married Lynne, becoming a father to her twin girls. (These are girls that I call my nieces. Brian is really like a brother to me.) The marriage took place at my estate, and the celebration continues every year, complete with a festive picnic, hayride, and fireworks.

Favorite books
J. E.: The 4 Disciplines of Execution by Chris McChesney, Sean Covey and Jim Huling, The One Thing by Gary Keller and Gary Papasan and The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss. (I like to read what Michael Hyatt is reading ????)
Beth: You sound very dedicated to your work!
Favorite hobbies
J. E.: I have some wonderful horses at the estate and taking a ride helps me to relax. I’m also an art collector which is an important fact in the next story.
Beth: Horses AND art?! Fancy tastes, sir!
Favorite time to read
J. E.: Most of my reading is done very early in the morning and very late at night.
Beth: Oh, me too! The quiet hours 🙂

J. E.: I have a picture hanging in my office at Bridwell Manor that has the following quote written on it:

Tell us about another Season of Deception character
J. E.: I’ve been warned about spoilers so there’s not much that I can say about the other characters. I will tell you that I became very angry with Phoebe one night at the estate. What she did was utterly shocking. Well, I don’t like to speak ill of anyone, so I’ll just let you read about it.

Will readers be able to follow your story in future books?
J.E.:I know that I will be in book three. If there is a book four, there’s a possibility that I might be making an appearance in that one also.

Sara Jane Jacobs lives life Coram Deo along the Emerald Coast of Florida with her cat, Selah (and Selah’s adorable offspring, Colby, Jack, and Tuesday). She enjoys being with family and pretty much anything that involves the great outdoors.
One of her favorite ways to relax is spending the day with her grandsons, Noah and Elias. She lives a short drive from the beach and considers frequent trips to put her feet in the sand a necessary part of routine health maintenance.
