My Thoughts

Okay y’all, I don’t want you to think I’m being dramatic here but I have to confess, this happily ever is so beautiful, it made me cry. Now it’s not unusual for me to cry WHILE reading but this is the first book to inspire a post-read cry. Those were tears of satisfaction, readers!

Meredyth is (like so many of us) unwilling to forgive herself and clinging to the burden of guilt and shame. Lawry is the best kind of friend (like our dear friend, Jesus), patient, loving, generous, and prayerful. Meredyth has convinced herself that marrying Vance (the wrong man for her in so many ways) must be God’s will for her life (or more appropriately, punishment for her sin). Lawry is determined to woo her and fight for her heart. Of course, I have to mention a sweet little sprite named Wynn who wins not only Lawry and Meredyth’s hearts but mine as well.

Dawn again kept me on the edge of my seat with heart pounding attraction and clever plot twists! I’m eagerly anticipating reading the next title in the Everstone Chronicles!
