Hello, reader friends! Where did the week go?! I’ve been rushing around like a crazy person and you, my dear reader friends, didn’t even see me here on the blog once! Weeks like this call for novellas like Literarily For Keeps!
Fortunately, we slipped away for a quiet family camping trip last weekend and enjoyed some peace, quiet, and pleasure reading (shhh! don’t tell my tbr). I’ll share an abbreviated recap of the week and hopefully, I’ll have a series review for y’all HERE this weekend.
Tuesday: squeezed in a Facebook live cover reveal for Amanda Dykes
Today: 2 First Line Fridays posts and there’s a giveaway over at Hoarding Books!
My calendar looks like an overloaded parking lot. If y’all would send up a little prayer for wisdom on my behalf, I’d sure appreciate it! Something has to give but I don’t know which hat I’m supposed to put down.
Literarily For Keeps by Sarah Monzon
“Have you ever been in a situation where you took a step back, looked around, and said to yourself, “How did my life become one big cliché?””
Doesn’t this cover and title just make you smile?! This is one of the many books I’m longing to read once all the craziness settles down to a manageable level (but since it’s short, I might be able to squeeze it in sooner rather than later).
Sarah’s Bookishly Ever After (now released individually but you can check it out in the Timeless Love First Line Friday feature) was completely delightful! I’ll do a full review of her entire collection of bookish novellas once it’s complete.
