Y’all, this is an all-hands-on-deck full speed ahead nautical adventure!!! The Pirate Bride is a reader’s delight with noble privateers, an island paradise, captives, mysteries, and romances!

Maribel Cordova is a spunky, pirate obsessed twelve-year-old girl. Young Maribel is both completely enchanting and determinedly fearless. I loved seeing the world through her boldness, compassion, and intellect! Once she matures into a young woman, her femininity takes the story to a whole new level. I would love to have a friend like Maribel, I’m not into climbing trees but life would be anything but dull with her around!

Jean-Luc Valmot is guided by a strong moral compass and stalwart work ethic. He leads and inspires men as he fights to right the wrongs in this world. Jean-Luc has a complicated past yet he embraces each new opportunity in his path with passion and purpose. Regardless of his profession(s), the fact that Mr. Valmot is tall, dark, and dashingly handsome with a quick wit and endless charm, doesn’t hurt his cause in the least!

A stellar supporting cast, intriguing storyline, and the inclusion of fascinating historical events round out this literary treasure trove of pirate indulgence! I simply could not put this book down and I look forward to picking it up again! I highly recommend this story and it has earned a place among my all-time favorites.
