Hello, reader friends! In lieu of our usual First Line Fridays post, I’d like to share a portion of scripture from John 19 in honor of Good Friday.
“After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished, to fulfill the Scripture, said, … “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.“
This is an abbreviated version of verses 28-30 taken from the NASB (read more here). I’ll be spending time with my family today so y’all have a blessed weekend as we remember and celebrate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

I love the Lord for all He’s done for us! How can we ever praise Him enough? Amazing grace, indeed! Happy Easter! I’m a day late because of Good Friday commitments yesterday. The book I’m sharing on my blog is The Social Tutor by Sally Britton. I enjoyed this novel. Here, I’m sharing the first line from another one of her books I just finished reading this week called Martha’s Patience. “If you do not stop this instant, I may have to faint.”
