What happened to Brigitte Berthold?

My Thoughts

Although I often find myself reading multiple stories at once (there are just so many books that I want to read!), there’s no literary experience quite like a well-crafted time-slip novel. Catching the Wind is an excellent time-slip!

Oh my heartstrings, sweet little Brigitte and brave young Daniel will completely capture your reader heart and soul with their terrifying escape to freedom. Daniel’s steadfast dedication to reuniting with his dearest friend spans decades and Quenby is his final hope to locate Brigitte. Although Quenby is reluctant to accept assistance from Daniel’s young (and handsome) lawyer, Lucas patiently proves himself to be a trustworthy gentleman.

This story evokes a wide range of emotions for me from the sweetness of children playing to the heartbreak of corruption in our fallen world, the warm devotion of loving friendship to the hopeful promise of better tomorrows. Dobson provides readers with complex characters and settings which are individually engaging and an intricate storyline that weaves past and present into a moving and heartfelt adventure.
