Faithfully Bookish

Hi, reader friends! We’re shifting gears just a bit for the next couple of months, I’ve been reading and blogging fast and furious over the summer and it’s time to regroup, refresh, and refocus!

Author spotlights are shifting to Mondays and Wednesdays to free up my weekends for family time and I’m cutting back on book review posts while I catch up on the massive tbr situation (more about that and some fun for y’all tomorrow so stay tuned!)

Speaking of spending time with friends, we met some new fictional friends this month so be sure to hop over and say hi if you missed out!

Janet W. Ferguson’s Elinor Bosarge & Courtney Walsh’s Lane Kelley

Let me know if there’s a book character you’re itching to meet and I’ll be happy to issue an invitation!

Here are the newest additions to my all-time favorites!
I couldn’t resist including Gage again since A Matter of Trust actually released July 4!

A Matter of Trust by Susan May Warren Finding Love by Toni Shiloh The Road to Paradise by Karen Barnett A Name Unknown by Roseanna White His Steadfast Love by Julie Lessman On Love's Gentle Shore by Liz Johnson

What are some of your favorites from July?

  2. I just finished the first two books in the Montana Rescue series this weekend. I’m ready for Gage!!
I’ve never read books by several of these authors. Guess I need to get on it!!

  3. BETH!!! I am SO honored to be on this list, my sweet friend, so THANK YOU sooooo much!!

And, Melissa, I encourage you to take advantage of the FREE DOWNLOAD on the prequel novella to this series. Not only will it give you a sneak peek at the first chapter of book 1, Isle of Hope: Unfailing Love, but it will set the family and setting up for you. I’ve included the link below.
Also, if you like the prequel, you’re in luck because book 1, which was listed on Family Fiction magazine’s Top 15 Novels of 2015 and currently has a 5-star rating on Amazon with 221 reviews, is currently on a special e-sale of only 99 cents, so I hope you consider downloading that too!

Here is the link to A Glimmer of Hope and the link to my Isle of Hope page, which not only has great pix of the hero and heroine, but a number of excerpts, reviews, and a buy link. Good luck in the contest! A GLIMMER OF HOPE

  4. Ooh. I loved A Matter of Trust.
    Finding Love was good.
Am really enjoying The Captivating Lady Charlotte right now. I have
On Love’s Gentle Shore and The Writing Desk waiting for me (and August is already here!).
His Steadfast Love and A Name Unknown are on my list, too, but I probably won’t get to them until maybe September. So many great books/authors, so so little time….

  5. I would add Rachel Hauck’s The Writing Desk and A Courtship for Clover (Seven Suitors for Seven Sisters Book 5) by Marion Ueckermann. Great list!
