12 Days of Snowmen: First Line Friday #21

First Line Fridays

Happy Friday, bookish friends! I don’t know about y’all but things are starting to get busy here. Thanksgiving is less than a week away and families will be gathering which makes the next few days “clean your house like crazy” weekend. It’s an unofficial holiday which I just created and will be observing begrudgingly because cleaning your house with kids is like brushing your teeth while eating Oreos.

It’s an unofficial holiday which I just created and will be observing begrudgingly because (when you have kids) cleaning your house is like brushing your teeth while eating Oreos. So, because I care about your mental well being, I’m pointing you to a sweet little novella you can read while vacuuming or wiping the baseboards (LOL, I’m making myself laugh! Who wipes baseboards when there’s cookies to eat bake?)

    1. Mary Connealy gets me. I completely understand that feeling (except the mountain part, don’t have many of those in the midwest)! Looking forward to reading that one for sure!

The morning began like every other weekday, with Cora making her way up the back walk to the shop, unlocking the door and clicking on the lights.
